Rapper unsurprisingly doesn't hold back yet again.

It wouldn't be Grammys day without some controversy courtesy of Kanye West and the US rapper is at it again, after he today called out a number of music publications and asked that they "do not comment on black music anymore".

In a series of tweets posted within minutes, Yeezy seemingly called out a number of publications in regards to his new album, The Life Of Pablo, in which he wrote, "Pitchfork, the album is a 30 out of 10", even though they gave it a 9.0 rating.

"To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore," West continued.

"I love love love white people but you don't understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far.

"The system is designed for colored people to fail and one of our only voices is music. One of our only ways out is music."

He went on to say that his new album will "never never never be on Apple" and insisted it is only available through Tidal.

West's comments come in the wake of claims that he is is $53 million in debt, after he yesterday asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for money via his Twitter account.

Earlier today, the Grammy Award-winning artist addressed his financial troubles to his near 19 million social media followers, tweeting, "Yes I am personally rich and I can buy furs and houses for my family."

"But I need access to more money in order to bring more beautiful ideas to the world.

"If I spent my money on my ideas I could not afford to take care of my family. I am in a place that so many artist end up."

Meanwhile, West has received some criticism in regards to lyrics in one of the tracks from the new record, Famous, in which he references pop star Taylor Swift.

In the song he raps, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why, I made that bitch famous/God damn/I made that bitch famous."

Though West said he received Swift's blessings regarding the lyrics, the singer's management have publicly denied these claims.

Australian DJ and actor Ruby Rose weighed in the conversation in recent days and condemned West's lyrics.

She referenced some other unpleasant incidents West was directly involved in, which has included defending shamed comedian Bill Cosby and publicly attacking model and ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose.

"Too many lines crossed. If I put myself in the shoes of the women he has hurt recently. Victims of Bill Cosby, The Slut shaming, Amber..." Rose tweeted.

If that wasn't enough, old friend and former co-writer Rhymefest has suggested that West needs mental help.

In response to fans asking on Twitter for the fellow rapper to write songs with West again, Rhymefest said, "My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal".
