Celebrated Australian songstress Julia Jacklin has been spending recent days wooing world audiences on a globetrotting headline and festival tour, and she's now announced a run of home-turf shows this November and December, in honour of her impending debut album, Don't Let The Kids Win.

The record is set to land on Friday 7 October, while Jacklin is over in Canada, having knocked over a run of US tour dates throughout this month and ahead of an extensive run through Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Scotland and Ireland ahead of her return to Australia.

The local leg of her ridiculously extensive world tour kicks off at The Foundry, in Brisbane, on Thursday 17 November, going on to hit stages in Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth and Katoomba, where she closes out just under a month later at The Carrington Hotel on 16 December.

Good as it will be to have her back in the country, don't expect her to stay close by for too long, though; having successfully appeared at high-profile global events such as SXSW and The Great Escape this year, it's a safe bet that Julia Jacklin will continue to operate at the impressive heights that have steered her to broad international airplay and acclaim, including Apple Music UK's branding as 'Best New Artist' of the week. Having sold out a show at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club as recently as July (a video from which, of Jacklin performing Coming Of Age, is available below), it's honestly little wonder that everyone's stepping over themselves to get a look-in.

Julia Jacklin will be joined by ascendant troubadour and BIGSOUND alum Gabriella Cohen for most shows on the tour, with the exception of Canberra, Newcastle, Perth and Katoomba.

Tickets for all shows are available now via Oztix. For a full breakdown of venues, dates and other touring information, see theGuide.

Jacklin also has a run of festival appearances in the final months of 2016, due to perform at Mullum Music Festival (18-19 November), Paradise Music Festival (25 November), Queenscliff Music Festival (26-27 November) and Fairgrounds Festival (2-3 December).
