I''m afraid I just blue myself.
This is not a trick, this isn't even an illusion — the return of Arrested Development is official and we're afraid we just blue ourselves.
While talk of a fifth season was yet again ramped up earlier this year after the critically acclaimed sitcom's executive producer, Brian Glazer, said a new series was "close", Bluth fanatics went into panic overload last week when Jason Bateman tweeted that he had signed on for a new season.
Look very probable I'm going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today.

The official Arrested Development Facebook page confirmed that a fifth season is coming our way in 2018, while Netflix shared the exact same image shortly after, with the caption, "The family's getting back together, even if they don't want to. Arrested Development Season 5, coming 2018".
