In support of their June-released third LP, Evolve, US rockers Imagine Dragons have confirmed they will be heading to Australia this year for a massive headline tour. 

Joined by Aussie heavyweights, The Temper Trap, the Las Vegas outfit will play arena concerts this May in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. 

While Imagine Dragons fans can expect to hear all of the band's hit tracks, it's rumoured that The Temper Trap are currently working on some new music which could be showcased at the upcoming gigs. 

General public tickets for the tour go on sale from 10am on Thursday 1 February.
