He didn't mess about in doing so, either - you'll be able to catch the Tightrope scribe in action on November 8, at the Kay Street Entertainment Complex. Previously valid tickets will remain so for the rescheduled date.
Venue management issued a statement via Facebook soon after the incident, on Sunday, saying, "We hope you'll understand that the circumstances were entirely out of our control and we are working to provide you with compensation, as soon as we can."
In selfless style, Illy responded: "If me or my crew get hurt and have to cancel shows, there's a group of people I'm responsible for who are directly affected. It's bigger than just me."
