Welcome back, Human Beings
We're a long way away from the days when the idea that Community could be spared cancellation was a fool's dream, with Yahoo answering the show's fans' prayers way back in July last year and saving Greendale for us all — but it's understandable if the reality of the show's renewal hadn't quite sunk in properly yet.
At least, that was the case until now — but Yahoo, via Variety, have unveiled the first look at their season in the administrative chairs at Greendale Community College and, if the improved budget, theoretical ability to swear, and promise of more schoolyard shenanigans are anything to go by, it looks like they might actually make a decent go of it.
The sixth season of Community sees a somewhat dwindling core group return, which the trailer acknowledges in the show's usual meta style.

Of the original Greendale Seven, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), Troy (Donald Glover) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) have left, with Chang (Ken Jeong) and the Dean (Jim Rash) serving as stand-in members whenever Duncan (John Oliver) wasn't around (and even when he was), while short-lived season-five addition Buzz Hickey (Jonathan Banks) has also exited, with his actor all tied up fleshing out Mike Erhmantraut's back story on Better Call Saul.
We got our #sixseasons. Now we just need to see about that #movie.
