“This gig is a small way for me to say thank you to everyone that has supported us over the years."

Since Gyroscope drummer Rob Nassif launched The Hen House Rehearsal Studios seven years ago, he’s contributed a great deal to the local music scene, culminating in the launch of a brand new venue last year, so it’s only fitting the next anniversary of operations is met with an epic party.

Some of the best upcoming talent in WA will come together at Badlands Bar and Hen House Live on Saturday, January 28 to celebrate the Hen House community and local music, with The Tommyhawks, Flossy, JFK, Small Town Heroes, September Sun, Lost Honours and The Belts confirmed.

“This gig is a small way for me to say thank you to everyone that has supported us over the years and we'd love to see you there,” Nassif said.

There’s still once more slot open and bands who want to join the party can express interest via the Hen House Live website.

One of the eight bands performing at the seventh anniversary will score a slot on the City Limits Festival at Badlands Bar in March, playing alongside Jebediah, Gyroscope and Bodyjar.
