Hell Yes, BIGSOUND Is Going Plastic Bottle-Free This Year

They've even got a panel on discussing BYO Bottle

Any effort we can make to minimise plastic bottle disposal is worth it for the planet, and BIGSOUND have recognised the need for this huge step by going plastic bottle-free this year.

This year, reusable drink bottles will be handed out in each delegate and artist showbag with a slew of refilling stations around the Judith Wright Centre.

When you consider that there are 1,321 delegates, 905 artist wristbands and 188 conference speakers on the loose this year, together we could make a huge change just by using these reusable bottles.

BIGSOUND are even putting on a panel called BYO Bottle: Making A Small Change For A Big Difference on Wednesday at 2pm, hosted by Green Music Australia's Tim Hollo and featuring panellists Katie Noonan, Caloundra Music Festival's Sharna Taylor and The Zoo owner Pixie Weyand.
