Hatchie Set To Score Week's Highest Local Debut On ARIA Albums Chart

The highest local debut with a debut album!

Aussie songwriter Hatchie is set to score this week's highest local debut on the ARIA Albums chart with her first record, Keepsake

Midweek figures suggest that the Brisbane artist's debut LP will land inside the top 20 and could finish ahead of some big names including The Saboteurs and Two Door Cinema Club

Meanwhile, last week's #1 album, Bruce Springsteen's Western Stars, looks to be in a race for top spot with fellow US artist Lil Nas X's new EP, 7, which should debut in the top five. 


Other debuts this week include Mark Ronson's Late Night Feelings and Prince demo album Originals (both top ten), The Saboteurs' Help Me Stranger (top 20), Hollywood Vampires' Rise, The Wiggles' Party Time! (both top 30), the Yesterday film soundtrack and Two Door Cinema Club's False Alarm (both top 50).

Over on the Singles chart, Lil Nas X will look to notch up ten straight weeks atop the list with Old Town Road, however his latest track Panini, as well as Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's Señorita, are both predicted to debut in the top three and challenge for top spot. 

Finally, Canada's Ali Gatie is predicted to crack the top 40 with his new song, It's You.
