The '90s have never been hipper than now (except maybe in the '90s). Everyone's fave bros Hanson know this and are hitting Australia like it's 1997.

More Hanson More Hanson

All year we've been telling you that the '90s are coming back and we damn well hope you've been listening because now it has been announced that freakin' Hanson are the latest act to be bred in that glorious decade to be be making the trek to Australia. Though, in fairness, Hanson are not strictly a '90s act, they have been making records and touring in the US for around 20 years and Shout It Out, their latest record which gets an Aussie release very soon, is their fifth full length release proper – that's plenty of songs. Apparently the album is packed full of finely crafted R'n'B inspired pop-rock, which sounds great and all but we really hope they still chuck MMMBop into their set. We guess we'll find out when the band make their way to Australia for the first time in seven years, hitting Adelaide's HQ on Thursday 13 September, Palace Theatre, Melbourne Friday 14, The Hi-Fi in Sydney Saturday 15, The Hi-Fi in Brisbane Thursday 20, the Coolangatta Hotel Friday 21 and Metropolis, Fremantle Saturday 22. Tickets are on sale from Thursday 12 April.
