GWAR recording new album

US metallers GWAR are in the studio to begin recording their new full-length.

The band will record drums first for the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Bloody Pit Horror’.

The pending material marks the first sessions since long-time guitarist Cory Smoot passed away in 2011.
