Revered Aussie Producer Signs Burgeoning Sydney Act To New Label Roster

Sydney-based band Grids & Dots have been announced as the latest signing on revered Australian producer Wayne Connolly's record label, Scenic Drive.

After launching the venture earlier this year, Connolly, who featured in local favourites The Welcome Mat and Knievel in the '90s, has added the trio to the roster.

Grids & Dots are set to release a brand new track next week.

Connolly first announced the label back in May with first signing, The Nagging Doubts, telling Billboard at the time that Scenic Drive "would be endeavoring to foster a community that is involved in putting out some great music".

As well as winning a number of ARIA Awards throughout the years with the likes of Josh Pyke, Paul Dempsey and You Am I, Connolly has also worked with Neil Finn, Silverchair, Jimmy Barnes, Powderfinger, Sarah Blasko and Grinspoon.
