And they're just weeks away.

The 2021 Golden Guitar Awards just got even bigger with a stack of much-loved artists joining the ceremony as hosts and performers.

Five-time Golden Guitar winner Catherine Britt and two-time winner Andrew Swift have been announced as hosts for the ceremony, which takes place on Saturday 23 January.

Fanny Lumsden, The Clymonts, Travis Collins, Amber Lawrence, Aleyce Simmonds, Kirsty Lee-Akers, Dianna Corcoran, Casey Barnes, Dean Perrett, Luke O'Shea, Melody Moko and Shane Nicholson are all locked in to perform on the evening.

Kristy Cox will also share a special performance with Tommy Emmanuel that's been filmed in Nashville, while The Bushwackers will share a medley of their most-loved tracks to celebrate the group's 50th anniversary. John Williamson will also be honoured with a special tribute for his 50th anniversary.

"Following a year where music has helped keep us together, I look forward to celebrating Australian country music creators who have made an outstanding contribution to our cultural and social fabric by continuing to release their work despite the ongoing challenges faced by our industry," said CMAA chairman Dan Biddle

"With the ongoing health concerns relating to COVID-19 and the logistical challenges of creating a safe in-person event experience, I am proud of the show we have been able to compose and the support we have been able to provide the artists," added the awards executive producer Peter Ross

"I am also proud that Tamworth can continue to celebrate and recognise the achievements of our country music artists during one of the most difficult times for the entertainment industry."

"We will also be communicating to attendees that as individuals they must responsibly ensure that they have followed all government instructions if they have been to any state or nationally identified case locations so that we can ensure we deliver a COVID safe event."

The awards will air on ABC's Landline Facebook page with a special 90 minute edition available on iView on Sunday 24 January. Head here for more info.
