Gang Of Four To Tour Australia, Playing Entertainment! In Full

It's the 35th anniversary of the hugely influential record.

More Gang Of Four Gang Of Four Profile

The influence of UK post punk legends Gang Of Four on modern indie rock is well documented, both in the press and the music of those bands who've lovingly aped them. The band's ultimate moment, in the eyes of many fans, is their 1979 debut album Entertainment! and it's that record the band will be paying ultimate tribute to on a forthcoming Australian tour this March.

This year is that LP's 35th anniversary, so the band – as they exist now – are heading around the world playing the record in full to celebrate just how good it still sounds after all these years. They will, of course, be playing all the hits that came after that record as well.

The band is a little different to the line-up that we saw out here for Soundwave a few years ago - founder Jon King being replaced with new singer John Gaoler - but original member Andy Gill is still around so fans of his iconic, jagged guitar playing will be pleased to be able to bear witness to his brilliance once again.

Dates are below, tickets are available from tomorrow morning.
