Foxtel Confirms New Music Audio Channels

Pay TV service revamps its offering

Foxtel has today officially confirmed the launch of Foxtel Tunes, a revamp of the audio-only music channels on the pay TV service.

The revamp of the channels has seen the launch of four new channels, with Max 90s Hits, V [Buzz] (replacing Faster Louder), [V] Pop (replacing the chart countdown) and country channel tie-in CMC Rocks available from today.

As with all the audio channels, they stream 24/7 ad-free and are available as part of the base Essentials Pack subscription.

The service said the revamp of the 30 channels allowed for greater cross-promotion and a unified feel to the offering.

Foxtel's music channels have also recently added Molly Meldrum as a presenter on Max, while Marcia Hines will host new channel Smooth as the MTV channels are also revamped.
