It's just the beginning
The first of the line-up for this year's Surry Hills Festival has been announced.
Leading the charge is dream-pop act Noire, singer-songwriter Leah Flanagan, Melbourne art-rock duo The Stiffys, indie folk trio Sons Of East and bluegrass renegades The Pigs.
As well as a flurry of acts yet to be announced for 26 Sep event, the day will include emerging acts from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) performing on a curated AIM pop-up stage.
Also on display on the last Saturday in Sep, you'll discover all manner of local creatives, designers, businesses and installation artists. This year's theme is presented under the banner, An Event Of Stories, Love & Tales, and local artists are invited to contribute to the Picnic Blanketr Story Project.
