Clare Holland takes over from Evan Kaldor

Clare Holland has been named the new Managing Director of prominent Sydney community radio station FBi.

Holland, currently the Executive Director of arts organisation Underbelly Arts, will take up the role left vacant by Evan Kaldor in February from June 1. Holland has previously worked in marketing, human recourses and financial roles at arts and non-profit organisations. She was also involved in the 2004 launch of the station.

Today she said she was looking forward, “to building on the recent work of Evan Kaldor and the board, the staff and the countless broadcasters, volunteers and supporters that have built FBi into what it is today. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to step into the role in such an exciting time in FBi's history and can't wait to take FBi into its second decade of making great radio and supporting local music, arts and culture.”

Holland added that she was a “strong believer in FBi's impact on shaping the cultural landscape of Sydney over the last ten years.”
