Good Life, the biggest festival for under-18s in the world, has announced it will be taking a year off in 2017.
After seven years of bringing huge acts including A$AP Rocky, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Jeremih, Martin Garrix, Rudimental, Skrillex and Hardwell to Australia's youth, organisers have stated they were unable to get a number of desired acts on board for 2017 due to scheduling commitments and are "unwilling to compromise on line-up quality for fans".
Despite its strict entry policies and generally good safety record, Good Life made headlines last year as an 18-year-old man was jailed for the assault of a security guard at the festival in Perth. Good Life then received more attention as a photo that appeared to contain a ghost at its Brisbane Festival went viral.
Good Life will be back in 2018, and in the meantime it will be running its Warehouse Tour in March 2017. The parties will return to Brisbane and Sydney and are expected to feature some big Australian acts, a DJ from the US, carnival rides and heaps of other attractions.
