The muso died due to complications from a stroke
English rock musician Ian McLagan has passed away due to complications after suffering from a stroke.
The keyboardist, most known for his work in the Small Faces and Faces, died yesterday at the age of 69 in his adopted hometown of Austin, Texas, a statement on his official website announced.
The Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer was "a true rock n roll spirit", said his manager Ken Kushnick.
Former Small Faces and Faces bandmate Kenney Jones said he was "completely devastated" by McLagan's passing.

As well as his work with Small Faces and Faces, McLagan was also known for collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and in particular, The Rolling Stones. He performed in several other bands and side projects throughout his career including The New Barbarians, as well as releasing a handful of solo albums.
McLagan was scheduled to begin a North American tour with labelmate, singer-songwriter Nick Lowe today.
