Long overdue follow-up to 2011 EP on its way

Sydney dream-indie songwriter Oliver Tank has signed to a new label – and landed a new manager – ahead of his return to the new release sheets later this year.

The follow-up EP to 2011's Dreams EP will be released through Create/Control before the end of the year, with Laura Wallbridge of Walls & Bridges now guiding his career.

Today Wallbridge told theMusic, “Oliver is an enchanting and extremely unique artist with an exciting future ahead of him. I was captivated by the Dreams EP and his new music is as magical as everyone is hoping it will be.

“It is a manager's dream to work with this sort of talent and I feel honoured to be a part of his team. We cannot wait to get stuck into things and share these very special songs with the world.”

Tank – who is billed on the Falls and Meredith festival line-ups – has supported the likes of James Blake and Lana Del Rey since 2011, and was also the support for Lorde's first Australian tour earlier this year. (He'll support her again for the next run of shows.)

Tank is booked by Harbour's Daniel Sant.
