Sources are claiming the European Commission are now satisfied
Universal Music Group are set to get the all-clear for the complex and drawn-out $1.9 billion purchase of EMI Music's recorded music division.
Reuters are reporting that Universal's offers to sell off the embattled label's assets have done enough to please the European Commission and they will gain approval.
Given the tense nature of the negotiations recently, the news will come as a relief to Universal who are still waiting on approval from the American Federal Trade Commission as well.
