The casting crew are doing a fine job.
Music and film fans were thrown into excitement when beloved actor and musician Donald Glover was confirmed for the upcoming standalone Han Solo Star Wars film last month, and now Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has also joined the cast.
The news was confirmed via the Star Wars website, and describes Clarke’s character in the yet-to-be-titled film as one “that Han (played by Alden Ehrenreich) and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.”
If Clarke’s role is any bit as ruthless as the Queen of Dragon, Daenerys Targaryen, Han and Chewie better watch out.
Glover’s role sees him take over from Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, while Phil Lord and Christopher Miller direct.
