Dr Colossus is in for a good week.

The Simpsons themed doom rock group Dr Colossus are looking likely to make an appearance on this week's ARIA Albums Chart

According to mid-week figures, the Melbourne group are looking likely to make their Top 30 debut this week thanks to their latest album I'm A Stupid Moron With An Ugly Face & A Big Butt & My Butt Smells & I Like To Kiss My Own Butt, a throwback to classic era-The Simpsons

Complete with tracks like So Long Stinktown, Sex Cauldron, Lard Lad and more, the album's success has been bolstered by its vinyl run which included a Flaming Moe themed colour variant.

The Music caught up with the band a couple of years back to find out more about their work and also more about their legitimate fan following in Shelbyville. Read the story here.

Looking at the wider chart, Olivia Rodrigo's debut album Sour is looking likely to take out the Top 3 on debut, with P!nk's All I Know So Far: Setlist also vying in for the top spot. Twenty One Pilots are gunning for Top 5 with their latest Scared & Icy.

Over on the Singles Chart, BTS' Butter is gunning for Top 5 while Bella Poarch is looking at Top 30 for Build A Bitch and Vance Joy's latest, Missing Piece, is aiming for Top 50.
