"Exile is purely about living in a world filled with other people's expectations of you."
Newly formed Brisbane rock quartet Deeds will be releasing their debut EP Exile this coming June and to celebrate will be taking to the road to play three shows in Queensland and one in Victoria.
Rising through the demise of rock ensemble, Inland Sea, frontman Beau Lindsay managed to mobilise three of his former band mates to create the multifaceted rock outfit that stands before us today.
"Exile is purely about living in a world filled with other people's expectations of you. It's a constant struggle with a fake idea of expression and self absorbed motives. Every now and then you just need to escape and regroup to have a better understanding of who you are so that you don't get caught up in the intensity that is the world we live in," said Lindsay.
Deeds will be taking Exile to the Spotted Cow in Toowoomba on 24 June, The Helm on the Sunshine Coast on 1 July (supporting Osaka Punch), Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane on 8 July (EP Launch) and finally the Brunswick Hotel in Melbourne on 13 August.
