After releasing You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine in 2004, Death From Above 1979 split up in 2006. They reformed in 2011 and released their first album in ten years, The Physical World, in 2014. Outrage! Is Now followed in 2017, then Is 4 Lovers in 2021.
In a 2014 retrospective review of You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine, Clash Music’s Mike Diver wrote, “You’re A Woman… is raucous rock refined to perfection – it was then, it is now,” and added, “Ten years on, You’re A Woman… still gets me shaken all over like few long-players can, that few ever will.”
We’re sure the band’s devoted fans in Australia can relate.
