The Sydney indie-pop outfit will hit the road in support of the release this July and August

Sydney-bred indie noise-pop upstarts Day Ravies have enjoyed a stellar two-or-so years since releasing their well-received 2013 debut LP Tussle, and now the four-piece are preparing to transition to the next chapter of their highly buzzworthy career with the announcement of the July release of follow-up full-length Liminal Zones.

Out on 10 July (vinyl via Sonic Masala, CD/digital via Strange Pursuits), Liminal Zones is a 12-song ride through just over half an hour's worth of the band's feel-good, reverb-dappled retro rock — but you won't have to wait that long to get your first taste, as the band has also unveiled brand new single Fake Beach, which our reviewer described as "a roller-coaster ride … that shows how much this band have going for them, and how bright their future is".

Get amongst it below.

Now that your ears are adequately buzzing, it may please you to know the band are taking their lauded live show - which they've honed through their own performances as well as support slots for the likes of The War On Drugs, Deerhunter, Pond, Dick Diver and The Clean - throughout the general eastern side of the country to celebrate their new release. The sojourn kicks off in Sydney, at the Newtown Social Club, on Saturday, July 25, and rolls through Brisbane (31 July, Bearded Lady), Melbourne (7 August, The Tote), Hobart (8 August, Grand Poobah), Wollongong (20 August, Rad Bar) and Canberra (27 August, The Phoenix).
