Crystal Castles release first song in two years
It's been two years since we've heard any new music from experimental electronic band, Crystal Castles.
And after Alice Glass announced her departure in October last year, it was believed by many that this was the end of the road for the Canadian formed duo.
However, remaining member Ethan Kath has breathed new life in too the band, after sharing a new song to their official Soundcloud account, entitled Frail.
And they've picked up right where they left off, as he indulges in the progressive sound yet again, although fans could not be blamed for assuming the female vocals on the track belong to Glass.

Kath cleared up the speculation in a post uploaded with the song, announcing that the voice belonged to unknown singer, Edith.
Meanwhile, there still seems to be some bad blood between the two founding members after Kath posted a message that was directed to his former bandmate.
It read: "i wish my former vocalist the best of luck in her future endeavors. i think it can be empowering for her to be in charge of her own project. it should be rewarding for her considering she didn't appear on Crystal Castles' best known songs. (she's not on Untrust Us. Not In Love, Vanished, Crimewave, Vietnam, Magic Spells, Knights, Air War, Leni, Lovers Who Uncover, Violent Youth, Reckless, Year of Silence, Intimate, 1991, Good Time, Violent Dreams etc.). people often gave her credit for my lyrics and that was fine, i didn't care."
Soon after, Kath deleted the post.
Meanwhile, no word has been given on if we can expect to hear more new music from the band in the near future, though fans will be hoping to hear more material after their last album release, (III), back in 2012.
