Bring Me The Horizon were set to tour Australia this year, however the COVID outbreak put an end to those plans.

Appearing on a new episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast to promote their new single Parasite Eve, frontman Oli Sykes said the UK band were looking to be on the road quite a bit in 2020 before the pandemic.

"We had hopes of playing a lot of shows this year," Sykes told host Neil Griffiths.

"We were meant to be going to Japan and doing festivals around Europe and I think we were coming to play Australia..."

When asked when Bring Me The Horizon expect to play live again, Sykes said the ever-changing situation makes it hard to set any timelines.

"Fuck knows, man. Right now, I'm like, we're not gonna be touring again 'til this time next year if we're lucky," he said.

On the new The Green Room episode, Sykes also laid out plans for four new EPs to be released within the next 12 months.
