With the release of their new record 'Bloodlust' this past Friday, Body Count has also announced that after two decades away from our shores, they'll be bringing their brand of gangsta metal/hardcore back to Australia.

June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will see the band perform down the Australian East Coast. As for supports, none have been announced just yet, but my money is on either Superheist, Earth Caller, Deez Nuts (who are also on Century Media) or Sydney's DVSR filling those slots in some capacity. Personally, I may go out to the Melbourne leg of this tour, if just for the sole novelty of seeing Body Count live in Australia. Also, in never missing a moment to talk about myself like the selfish bastard that I am, a couple of weeks back I reviewed 'Bloodlust' giving it a 60/100 because man... I just do not get the hype for this new album. You can read the full review right here.

Finally, easily one of the strongest songs to be found on 'Bloodlust' is the album's penultimate track, 'Black Hoodie', which you can stream below - it's actually pretty fucking sick. And if you missed it, suss out their previous single, 'No Lives Matter', over here.

And hey, if you're a big Body Count fan, you may get a kick out of 'Making Of' episodes for this new album - part one & part two.
