Blur have revealed the cover art for their new double A-side single through their Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr pages overnight (Australian time) as they prepare to debut the songs live next week.
Under The Westway and The Purit are the two songs which will be featured on the 7” coloured vinyl release that the band will release in the UK on Monday 6 August. There are no details of an Australian release as yet.
The band are taking to the social network to premiere the tracks as well, with a live performance of both songs from a secret UK location to be streamed at 3.15am Tuesday morning Australian Eastern Standard Time, so get some rest this weekend if you're planning on getting up to be the first to see it!
Damon Albarn mentioned earlier this week that both songs were written specifically for the band's upcoming show at Hyde Park on Sunday 12 August.
