Bastardfest Cancelled For 2013

Extreme music event Bastardfest will not take place this year, with metal-enthusiasts having to wait until 2014 for another dose of the festival.

In a statement posted on the event's facebook page, organisers put the decision down to "changes in administration at BASTARDFEST HQ, some little bastards on the way and a huge amount of international touring competition in 2013". They've assured fans that they are working on making the event bigger and better in 2014.

Last year's Bastardfest lineup included Astriaal, Blood Duster, Fuck… I'm Dead, King Parrot and Disentomb.
