#saveneighbours, please.
With Ramsay Street in distress as the future of Neighbours hangs in the balance, UK-based fans of the iconic Aussie soap have taken matters into their own hands.
As highlighted by TV Tonight, a social media campaign by fans overseas has seen the show’s original theme by Gold Logie winner Barry Crocker shoot back to #1 on the UK iTunes Singles Chart, knocking Ed Sheeran’s The Joker And The Queen from the top spot.
Entertainment journalist Peter Ford said that he “rang and broke the news” to Crocker this morning and he was “absolutely thrilled”.
What if we would all download the original Neighbours theme from Barry Crocker on iTunes & Spotify and try to get it in the charts to show how much we love it! Maybe that could help to raise more attention to how much we love and need @NeighboursTV in our lives. #saveneighbours pic.twitter.com/FtI1oxDtwc
