An immersive ASMR workshop is heading to the Gold Coast next month.
Australia’s first live ASMR program, ASMR Live!, will take place on March 14 as part of OUT LOUD at Home of the Arts and will feature one of the world’s biggest ASMRtists, London’s WhispersRed, aka Emma Smith.
“The workshop in March will be a relaxed and friendly, interactive ASMR experience,” Smith told The Music.
“Participants have the opportunity to receive hands-on ASMR treatments but also learn how to give them. I will be treating them to an immersive, multi-sensory ASMR meditation myself and we will have fun remembering childhood ASMR experiences while taking part in a huge ‘backtracing’ circle.
“There will be a full demonstration on how to give ASMR treatments at home followed by an interactive ASMR spa session. There will be lots of time for questions regarding all things ASMR from the personal benefits to how an ASMR video is made.
“My intention for the workshop is to have all participants feel empowered to bring ASMR awareness into their daily lives, have a renewed confidence in explaining ASMR to their friends and family and perhaps try their own ASMR treatments at home."
