"That’ll probably be a half-hour show, based maybe in Melbourne."
Constantly touring the country, Australia’s seen no shortage of Arj Barker over the past few years, but many fans miss seeing him on the small screen.
Barker left a lasting impressions with his role as Dave on Flight Of The Concords, and with some luck, we’ll hopefully see the comedian return to the small screen with a TV show he has in the beginning stages.
“Me and a pal are trying to develop a TV show together, so that’ll probably be a half-hour show, based maybe in Melbourne, but we’ll see if someone buys it,” Barker told The Music ahead of his Melbourne Fringe shows.
“It’s too early to discuss [the premise], but suffice to say, I’ll be the star and we hope it’ll be really good.”

Barker’s new stand-up show, Get In My Head, finishes up its run in Adelaide this weekend before hitting Melbourne Festival and other locations.
He will be releasing a DVD of the show he has been touring for the past couple of year, Go Time, in the coming months.
