Early-bird tickets are on sale now
Brisbane venue The Brightside has, in its relatively short lifespan, swiftly asserted itself as a top contender among the city's Fortitude Valley entertainment precinct as a crucial location for must-see music events.
Now, the space is doing much to further that claim with the announcement of its simply massive 2015 Australia Day Eve show, led by eclectic US artist Ariel Pink and seminal Kiwi indie rockers The Clean.
Having already hosted sets for events such as The Blurst Of Times festival, The Frightside Halloween party, Track & Field, BIGSOUND and more, The Brightside's carpark is demonstrably ready to mark the occasion on Sunday, January 25, when Pink and The Clean will be backed up by soul-steeped electro wizards How To Dress Well, fellow magic-weaving contemporary Dan Deacon, and a smorgasbord of alluring local concerns such as Tincture, Primitive Motion and Thigh Master, with more yet to be announced.

Both Pink and The Clean have a run of shows scheduled in the country around the time of The Brightside's party; Pink will perform at Melbourne's Sugar Mountain Festival on January 24, while The Clean are embarking on a tour that takes in dual fest performances — they hit Tassie's MOFO on January 15 before heading north for the Sydney Festival on January 20.
