Famed Aussie singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian will play a series of intimate headline shows around the country this March and April to give fans a raw look into his forthcoming album, Conscious.

The new material — set to drop in June — follows Sebastian’s Part 1 EP last year, and reveals a more personal side of the prolific artist’s mindset as he shifts into a new musical landscape.

"Recently I’ve been putting out more visual content from my most comfortable space, the studio," Sebastian said.

"With these shows, I wanted to capture the rawness of what happens behind the scenes and bring that energy onto the stage. It’s a whole different mindset."

The Sub-Conscious tour — proudly presented by The Music — will be a rare chance for punters to experience a different side of Sebastian when he takes on fan favourite venues like Corner Hotel and The Triffid — a bit of a change of pace from Rod Laver Arena.

The title track from the album continues to explore the territory Set In Stone by the last EP and Hottest 100 placing Like A Version rendition of LDRU’s Keeping Score, which, as Sebastian told The Music, might make an appearance on the upcoming tour.
