Sydney's Tonight Alive Nominated For Kerrang Award

May 3rd 2012 | 2:08pm | Scott Fitzsimons
Young Sydney pop-punk band Tonight Alive have been nominated in the Best International Newcomer category in the UK Kerrang Awards.

They're up against fellow nominees in the category, Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse, Of Mice And Men and Reckless Love.

British pop punk band You Me At Six picked up the most nominations, which were decided through over 280,000 submitted votes.

Tonight Alive have enjoyed a growing international fanbase in the last 12 month after emerging from humble beginnings in the strong Western Sydney emo/punk scene in recent years.

In 2011 they released their debut album What Are You So Scared Of , recorded with Mark Trombino, through Sony in Australia and it has since been released in America through Fearless. They are playing the entire Warped Tour this year.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London Thursday 7 June.
