Geraldton punk five-piece Alex The Kid have big news to announce this morning, in that they've signed to Adelaide punk/hardcore Pee Records and will be releasing their next album Speak Up on 19 August.

In support of the album, the band will also be heading out on a September national tour to give fans a chance to hear the new songs up close and personal. You can start doing that today, actually, with the band releasing their new single Skate Or Lie to put the cherry on top of today's announcements.

The band recently won triple j's One Night Stand Unearthed which gave the band a chance to shine in their hometown of Geraldton, WA. Alex The Kid join acts like Safe Hands, The Decline, Dan Cribb & The Isolated and more at Pee Records. 

The boys' tour will start in Perth before heading to Brissy, Wollongong, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
