'The iconic keys player is stepping out on his own with 12 tracks of pure, all-out rock power.'
Rock legacy Dizzy Reed is knocking off socks with the release of his debut solo album Rock ‘n Roll Ain’t Easy, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.
After a career playing with the likes of Guns N’ Roses, The Dead Daisies and Johnny Crash, the iconic keys player is stepping out on his own with 12 tracks of pure, all-out rock power.
The album has soaked up influences from Reed’s illustrious and extensive musical career, featuring impassioned, gruff vocals swathed in huge electric melodies, fist-pumping percussion and, of course, face-melting guitar solos.
On the other side of the spectrum, emotive tracks Fragile Water and Crestfallen put the artist's key skills to good use, highlighting Reed’s masterful knack with a piano hook.
