HELL YEAH!!!
Regional Victorian heavy rockers Airbourne smashed into the UK Albums Chart on the weekend.
The Warrnambool band's latest album Breakin' Outta Hell debuted in the UK charts at number nine on Saturday. It is their highest chart position there to date.
Previously in the UK Airbourne have peaked outside the top 20: 2007's Runnin' Wild at #62; 2010's No Guts No Glory at #31; 2013's Black Dog Barking at #22.
The new album is giving Airbourne their highest chart positions around the world. Germany gave them their third top five album in a row - debuting at number three, it beat the chart peaks of previous releases Black Dog Barking (#5) and No Guts No Glory (#4). Here in Australia, the album's debut position was also the band's highest chart listing in their home country.
