Band continuing global success

More Airbourne More Airbourne

Victorian Aussie rock outfit Airbourne have enjoyed a very strong debut in the UK charts this week, with their latest record Black God Barking arriving at 22.

In a particularly strong week for releases, which saw Daft Punk's Random Access Memories shoot to the top of the chart, the album is now the top Aussie album in the chart. It debuted behind Daft Punk, The National's Trouble Will Find Me at three, Texas' The Conversation at four, Thirty Seconds To Mars' Love Lust Faith + Dreams at five, Demi Lovato's Demi at ten and Jamie Cullum's Momentum at 20.

Last week the band had gone to number one on a number iTunes' rock charts around the world – including the UK, Canada, France and Germany. As of today, they're still in the top ten for the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Sweden and Switzerland.

Their Australian tour kicks off in July, tour details below.
