Lano & Woodley Would 'Love' To Revive Their '90s TV Series

I've got a feelin', got a bit of an inklin'...

More Lano & Woodley More Lano & Woodley

Now that a Lano & Woodley comeback is complete, the question has to be asked: Is it time to revive the comedy duo's TV series, The Adventures Of Lano & Woodley?

Appearing on the latest episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast to promote their new Amazon Prime special, Fly, Colin Lane and Frank Woodley discussed the possibility of bringing the show back which ran for two seasons from 1997-1999 on ABC.

"We would love to do something like that, but the reality is that it's very hard to get the funding for something like that," Woodley told host Neil Griffiths.

As well as screening in Australia, The Adventures Of Lano & Woodley also aired in the UK in 1999, with Scottish director Bob Spiers - who directed episodes for Fawlty Towers and Absolutely Fabulous, as well as the 1997 Spice Girls film Spice World - directing the episodes Starquest and The Girlfriend.

"I was gonna say we could do a guerilla version of it, where it's like, we produce it low budget and then the audience who would love it... but are they big enough to justify the ABC or Amazon Prime or some network actually funding the production?" Woodley said.
