Aaradhna Announces East Coast Shows With Fourth Album In Tow

She'll have Brown Girl along for the ride

More Aaradhna Aaradhna

New Zealand R&B singer/songwriter Aaradhna has announced a short run of dates this June for fans to hear tracks from her upcoming fourth studio record, Brown Girl

It's the first album the Indian-Samoan singer has produced with Brooklyn-based label Truth & Soul Records, said to be a vehicle of expression for topics like race relations, politics and judgement.

Aaradhna says of Brown Girl, "My last album Treble & Reverb was a little more sparklier, this new album is all me, like a slow burning incense stick, it burns slow but leaves behind a scent that’s 100% authentic."

Aaradhna and her new live band will head to two shows on the east coast this June — first, Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on 3 June, then Melbourne's Howler on 4 June. After that, she heads home to New Zealand to play Auckland and Wellington.
