Now, Twitter may either just be extremely easy to break into and get through their security walls, or it's likely that '1,2,3,4' is not a secure password.

Among those hacked included, but not limited to; Tenacious D, Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce The Veil, Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala and Keith Richards, among others. The “carnage” that came included bomb threats (Tame Impala), death notices (Tenacious D) and some very inappropriate jokes of Muhammad Ali passing away (Bon Iver). Although all of these are insensitive and improper, all of the musicians involved have responded in a mature way and nothing inappropriate has been said in response to these hacks. Of course, most of these Tweets have already been deleted from the respective accounts.
However, by this stage, you would think that someone as famous as Jack Black would have a more secure approach to social media having been previously hacked, on more than one occasion. In 2012 it was reported he had fallen off a cliff in New Zealand, and in 2014 he had passed away from a stroke. At this rate, Black is due to pass away in 2018 and resurrect the following day. Maybe if he had held off just three days between his "death" and his "resurrection" it would have caused a lot more controversy. Just saying.
Outside of the music community, however, Facebook found Mark Zuckerberg also had his Twitter and Pinterest accounts hacked claiming that this was thanks to LinkedIn having a password dump last month. Millions of LinkedIn users fell victim to these passwords leaking online and due to many individuals using the same password for numerous accounts it made the hackers job rather easy.
So, this is a message to all you of you reading this; don’t use the same password or a variation of the same password for your various accounts. As you never know who is waiting to have a laugh on a boring Sunday afternoon.
