Within the role you will be planning and executing marketing and paid advertising strategies for the project, working closely with publicity/promo, digital/sales and digital marketing/content teams to deliver campaign goals & KPIs.

You will be responsible for set up, execution, reporting and optimization.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow, engage and nurture a vibrant fan community in Australia for your roster of International artists

  • Be the main point person for International labels and managers, working collaboratively with the local publicity & promotions, catalogue, digital accounts, digital marketing, ceremony of roses, content, sales and data + analytics teams for your projects

  • Apply best practices and latest trends in international marketing, including but not limited to the use of digital assets, influencer marketing, CRM, gaming, social and music platforms, emerging technologies and traditional media to create meaningful fan experiences and drive consumption

  • Plan and coordinate fan-centric events, both online and offline, such as live streams, virtual meet-ups, fan contests, and exclusive fan experiences

  • Collaborate with event organisers, partners, and stakeholders to execute successful fan-focused initiatives

  • Make strategic spend decisions based on audience insights and data from different platforms

  • Plan and deliver on ground schedules for travelling or touring artists into Australia

  • Ensure all administrative related tasks and post campaign reporting are completed

  • Analyse social, lifestyle and market trends for any opportunities that may help amplify Sony Music artist and drive fan engagement

  • Develop relationships across the music industry which can lead to diversification of opportunities and partnerships for artist campaigns

  • Represent the company for industry events and live performances for touring artists 

Who you are:

  • Love and passion for music

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content, and streaming landscape

  • A proven track record of success in delivering major, global marketing projects and audience growth initiatives

  • Creative thinker, confident and proactive in your approach, able to work autonomously and be a team player with a positive attitude

  • Outstanding communicator and an ability to take on and utilise diverse opinions - equally at home talking to teams, artists and management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities at once with outstanding time management skills

  • Good understanding of data analysis and consumer insights

  • Experience in direct media buying and planning 

  • Be a relationship driven person who is motivated to work with a fast moving and rapidly developing roster
