Leading independent music distributor GYROstream is seeking a highly organised and proactive Partnerships Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is focused on supporting and executing GYROstream’s wide array of partnerships—from DSPs and media outlets to educational and industry bodies—with a strong emphasis on administration, coordination, and partner relationship management.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will play a key role in facilitating activities and initiatives driven by partnerships, ensuring streamlined communication, delivery of artist opportunities, and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation of the music industry, excellent project coordination and communication skills, and a passion for building and maintaining strong partnerships that drive artist growth and brand visibility.

KEY POSITION OBJECTIVES

Grow and Engage the GYROstream Community:

Develop and implement strategies to connect with artists, fans, and partners, fostering an engaged and loyal community.

Support University and Partnership Initiatives:

Provide administrative and operational support for GYROstream’s educational outreach efforts, helping to coordinate workshops, guest lectures, and artist onboarding initiatives.

Strengthen Artist Relationships:

Engage with independent artists and industry stakeholders through events, partnerships, and digital platforms, ensuring GYROstream remains a trusted partner in their journey.

Streamline Partnership Operations:

Assist the Streaming Partnerships Manager with administrative duties and tracking related to DSP initiatives and artist opportunities.- activities include: creating and maintaining documentation, reporting frameworks, calendars, and follow-up systems for all ongoing and one-off partnership activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate communications between artists and partners during community-focused initiatives, ensuring timely and professional communication

  • Support the creation of materials such as newsletters, educational tools, event updates, and artist-facing communications

  • Coordinate schedules, logistics, and communications for workshops and guest lectures with university or industry partners

  • Maintain detailed records of university contacts, events, and outcomes to support ongoing relationship management

  • Assist in tracking and onboarding emerging artists identified through university programs

  • Help with logistical and administrative tasks related to campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and reporting

  • Monitor and report on the outcomes of community initiatives, events, and sponsorships

  • Contribute to post-event and campaign debriefs, identifying areas for improvement and growth

  • Help implement artist and event marketing campaigns, coordinating closely with relevant teams

  • Support the planning and execution of promotional activities, sponsorships and events to increase brand visibility and engagement

  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of partnership-related communications, such as artist onboarding info, campaign briefs, and opportunity updates

  • Assist with maintaining relationships and pitching opportunities to relevant media outlets and radio stations

  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems and shared documents (CRM, spreadsheets, tracking tools)

  • Assist with the administration and documentation of artist-facing DSP campaigns and other opportunities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of the music industry and digital distribution.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling.

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, Asana, Hubspot, Mailchimp, and digital marketing tools and platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and Spotify Ad Studio.

  • Enthusiastic and results-driven with attention to detail.

  • Trend spotting and analytical skills to interpret streaming data and trends.

  • Role may require travelling and attending events out of regular hours.
