After a nine month hiatus, Wordcraft is relaunching into community in their next evolution. This open mic is for all wordcraft artists. Poets, storytellers, rappers, singer songwriters, beatboxers galore - bring your story to the stage however your heart calls for it to be shared.
This event was born during lockdown of 2020 and was the fastest growing spoken word event Melbourne had to offer, now, we’ve evolved to hold space for a wider variety of artists to experiment with their voices and what their artistry has bubbling in the cauldron.

Hosted by award-winning poet and speaker, Wren Rapture, not only is this project her offering to community, it is also time to own the stage as her playground. As Wordcraft evolves, so does she. In her artistry, her facilitation and her voice. So if you’re a creative seeking space to witness and be witnessed in your own evolution, come and watch the host herself experiment, fail and fly and lead by example exactly what Wordcraft is all about.
