With a powerhouse lineup of some of the city’s finest musicians, Son Fuerza delivers an experience guaranteed to ignite the dancefloor.
From deep grooves and driving horns to soaring vocals and tight, infectious percussion, this band plays with energy, precision, and sabor. Their repertoire features modern Cuban hits from legends like Los Van Van, Pupy y Los Que Son Son, Havana D’Primera, and Alain Pérez, alongside exciting original material.

Band leaders Ollie Shute and Lachlan Smith are well-known musicians in Melbourne’s Latin scene, having spent the past six years performing with top local acts including La Influencia, Sazón, Tumbao Social, and Quarter Street, and backing international artists on their tours across Australia.
