This week’s lineup is an Aotearoa / New Zealand Takeover in collaboration with Bad Gin Sanctuary, featuring Adam Hattaway, Ingrid and The Ministers and Sam Bambery.Cutting deep with raw soul, grit, and rock ’n’ roll charm. Known for turning heartbreak into a howl, they’re dialing it down—but not backing off. This is live music with teeth, up close and personal. Adam Hattaway hails from Christchurch, New Zealand. Drawing comparisons to Joan Jett and The White Stripes, Ingrid and the Ministers are the raw, catchy, and energetic trio making blues rock feel fresh and relevant again. The band bridges a love of classic 70s bands and a modern lyrical sensitivity which doesn't shy away from current issues. Sam Bambery is an artist and impresario from Otautahi/Christchurch, currently based in Naarm/Melbourne. Exploring his love of semi-psychedelia through a twisted folk-rock lens, Bambery writes effectual and spacious songs burrowing into emotional identity and exhaustion. His sophomore album Rubricator released in 2024 with micro-label Under Underground Records, edging at outsider-pop influence.
