Emerging rock’n’roll trio Twelve Parsecs have released their first EP, The Only Thing (That Matters).
Fuelled by a passion for rock classics, Twelve Parsecs burst onto the scene in 2021 with electrifying covers, gaining viral acclaim—most notably for their rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” which went viral on social media and has amassed more than 100 million views to date.
Their original compositions have taken on a vibrant identity, blending influences from iconic bands including Silverchair, Crowded House, Foo Fighters, and Led Zeppelin. Their sound balances powerful vocals with searing guitar riffs and a commanding rhythm section, delivering music that is both timeless and unmistakably their own.
After releasing two singles in 2023, Off My Shoulders and Ghost Hug, the new four-track EP is led by the title track, which won the ‘Schools 14 And Under’ Category at the 2024 WAM Song Of The Year Awards.
“This rockin’ slice of life is a live favourite of the band and showcases Twelve Parsecs’ crisp musicality and songwriting dynamics” [Bob Gordon, music journalist]
